Challenge: Refresh an existing brand's marketing collateral with consistency across all channels. As new competitors enter the area market, recognizable marketing and differentiation of the values of the Hoops School program will help it stand out from the competition. 
Design: Previously, each piece was designed independently. For the refresh, a solid brand approach was created that can be applied to any marketing channel. Aspects were picked up from the website as a starting point. The logo remains the same as a way to connect the reputation built over the decades. The color palette was derived from the logo for consistency. The founder and head coach is presented as the face of Hoops School as another way for people to recognize who is offering the classes and leagues. Her reputation as a professional coach, leader and basketball star is well known. Styling for the class offerings from the website is used as an identifiable system for the information.
Alignment: The strategy was to showcase how Hoops-School is different from competitors by getting back to the original values on which their programs are based. These values draw in families, keep them coming back, and not offered by the competition.
